NetScout Systems’ line of service assurance applications has received certification from the Defense Information Systems Agency after the products met the information assurance and interoperability requirements of the Defense Department for inclusion in the Unified Capabilities Approved Products List.
The company said Wednesday its nGeniusONE Unified Performance Management and nGeniusONE InfiniStream platforms also secured Common Criteria accreditation from the National Information Assurance Partner.
U.S. federal agencies check for the NIAP ISO standard when buying information technology products to determine if they have been subjected to security assessment, specification and implementation processes.
Tom Casey, assistant vice president of product management at NetScout, said the certifications validate the company’s mission to offer tools that could prove essential to clients invested in network visibility and network intelligence.
