Louis Berger has won a potential six-year, $8 million contract with the Washington Sanitary Suburban Commission to help rehabilitate a water and sewer facility in Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties, Maryland.
The company will also work to relocate the facility’s transmission and distribution water pipelines, sewer pipelines and large meter vaults, Louis Berger said Wednesday.
This contract contains a three-year, $4 billion base period and a three-year option period worth $4 million.
“This design project leverages the expanded design capabilities in our water services division,” said Anwer Hasan, Louis Berger senior vice president of water services.
“It gives us the opportunity to actively support water and wastewater design in the Mid-Atlantic and surrounding regions from our design center in Baltimore,â€Â Hasan added.
Louis Berger will also inspect and assess both existing and proposed pipelines in the Washington Suburban Sanitary District.
