Private equity firm DC Capital Partners Management has invested in C5MI to help the latter further develop its logistics and supply chain platforms and services for government and commercial clients.
C5MI said Monday its founders have reinvested equity as part of the strategic investment.
Established in 2016, C5MI provides digital transformation capabilities and services to help address supply chain and logistics challenges facing federal and state government agencies and Fortune 200 companies.
The digital modernization company has developed a software-agnostic approach to enable customers to detect, sustain and protect supply chain operations in contested environments.
“We are extremely excited to partner with DC Capital to help our clients secure their operations throughout their full modernization journey, from full digital core implementations to Industry 4.0 autonomy,” said C5MI CEO Don Young.
“By continuing to invest in advanced technologies and expert knowledge, we enable our customers to anticipate and respond to disruptions, enhance visibility, and streamline operations so they are well-equipped to navigate the complexities of the modern business environment,” he added.
Thomas Campbell, founder and managing partner of DC Capital, said the transaction marks a key milestone in the firm’s efforts to advance innovation, security and efficiency in the public sector.
Raymond James and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman served as C5MI’s financial adviser and legal counsel, respectively, in the transaction.
Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer acted as DC Capital’s legal counsel.
