Cryptography services provider SafeLogic has partnered with Carahsoft Technology to deliver cryptographic services to government agencies.
Carahsoft said Tuesday it will act as SafeLogic’s Master Government Aggregator and distribute its Federal Information Processing Standard 140 validated classical and post-quantum cryptography software to the public sector.
Under the collaboration, Carahsoft will distribute the CryptoComply software through its reseller partners and procurement programs, including the NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V, National Association of State Procurement Officials ValuePoint and Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – Software 2 contracts.
CryptoComply is known for its compatibility with various platforms, operating systems and programming languages. The FIPS 140 Validation-as-a-Service, meanwhile, is necessary for obtaining certification for the cryptography modules, which is recognized by various security compliance frameworks.
Evgeny Gervis, CEO of SafeLogic, emphasizing the significance of the partnership in tackling the complex cryptographic needs of public sector IT organizations, said, “We are pleased to partner with Carahsoft to expand our reach in the public sector, where our holistic and interoperable cryptographic solutions will help government agencies save time, effort and money while ensuring their use of the strongest cryptography available.”
Troy Meraw, program executive for quantum solutions at Carahsoft, added, “Carahsoft and its reseller partners look forward to streamlining the proven, validated cryptography government agencies need to protect critical assets today, as well as advanced post-quantum cryptography support they will need to remain secure tomorrow.”
