The Federal Communications Commission has awarded an NTT Data subsidiary a spot on a multiple-award contract to provide application development support services to the agency.
Net ESolutions will help the FCC transition to a cloud environment, develop new information technology platforms and revamp software delivery processes under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, NTT Data said Tuesday.
Christopher Merdon, group president of the public sector at NTT Data’s services business arm, said the company brings experience in assisting federal government customers in migrating to the cloud to meet their mission requirements.
“We place significant investment in research and development to stay at the forefront of technology and implement emerging IT solutions to better integrate applications, infrastructure and networks,” said Merdon.
NTT Data acquired NETE in December 2019 as part of efforts to expand its federal civilian service offerings in the public health space.
The potential $203.6 million IDIQ was announced in May. Fourteen companies were named awardees of the ADSS contract.
