Valkyrie's ACT Subsidiary to Continue Air Force Comm Backup Power Support - top government contractors - best government contracting event

A Valkyrie Enterprises subsidiary will continue to engineer and maintain backup power equipment supporting Ninth Air Force communications under a five-year, $24.5 million contract.

Atlantic CommTech received the contract from the Air Combat Command’s Acquisition Management & Integration Center to provide the systems support to 9AF A6 operations in Southwest Asia, Valkyrie said Tuesday.

“Our acquisition of ACT continues to add value to our core portfolio of services,” said Dave Streett, president of Valkyrie.

The Virginia-based systems engineering company acquired ACT in late 2020 to expand offerings for the federal government.

ACT maintains a portfolio of communications, security and information technology support services.
