Charlie Bengston Named to Maryland Space Business Roundtable Board of Directors

Charlie Bengston, president of engineering, aerospace and mission systems at ASRC Federal, has been elected to join the Maryland Space Business Roundtable’s board of directors.

Bengston brings his 25-year aerospace industry experience to represent Maryland’s academic and space business community as part of his new role, the company said.

Prior to his current role at ASRC, Bengston served as director of the firm’s Mid-Atlantic engineering services. He has assisted the company’s growth since its establishment in 1998.

“Having been associated with the MSBR for the last 15 years, I look forward to further serving the organization, the Maryland space community and continuing to build [science, technology, engineering and mathematics] educational outreach as it is vitally important to the future of space exploration,” Bengston said.

MSBR seeks to help universities, businesses and personnel within Maryland’s technology and aerospace communities.
