Science Applications International Corp. has received a potential five-year, $77M prime contract to deliver information technology services for agencies within Orange County, Calif.
The company said Monday it will provide converged network support, voice communications and overall IT management services under the contract.
SAIC will also establish a 24/7 security operations center to administer cybersecurity services for the daily protection of the county’s IT infrastructure.
“The SOC will provide cybersecurity monitoring, incident assessment and analysis, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, threat intelligence and related critical cyber services to protect the county’s critical systems and infrastructure,†said Bob Genter, senior vice president and general manager of SAIC’s federal civilian customer group.
Work will take place mainly in Santa Ana, Calif. over a three-year base period valued at $51M, and continue for two more years if given options are exercised.
The government of Orange County has 25 agencies and departments.
