The Defense Department has launched a second round of comment period for industry to submit questions about DoD’s revised request for proposals for the Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure cloud procurement program, Nextgov reported Friday.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Thursday says cloud service providers should send their questions about the amended JEDI cloud RFP through Tuesday, Aug. 28.
The updated solicitation includes the revised statement of objectives, small business participation, definitions and price scenarios as well as responses to 218 questions received following the release of the final RFP in July.
Some of those responses addressed queries related to the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program accreditation, delivery time requirement for modular data centers and tactical edge deployment.
The Pentagon plans to award a potential $10 billion sole-source contract for the JEDI cloud acquisition effort and will accept bids through Sept. 17.
