KBR‘s government services business has received a potential 51-month, $36.5 million task order to help sustain the U.S. Air Force‘s current intercontinental ballistic missile system.

The company said Wednesday that KBRwyle will provide sustainment engineering support for the LGM-30G Minuteman III ICBM weapon and related ground and support equipment.

KBRwyle will conduct technical and scientific analyses and offer recommendations to address reliability, maintainability, quality, supportability and interoperability; nuclear surety and safety, life cycle management and failure testing; and diminishing manufacturing sourcing issues.

The cost-plus-fixed-fee order was awarded under the multi-award Defense Systems Technical Area Task contract vehicle.

Work will primarily occur at Hill AF Base in Utah and various locations across the country.
