Mark Sikorski, an 18-year veteran of General Dynamics, has joined USmax as chief operating officer at the Gambrills, Md.-based information technology services provider.
USmax said Wednesday Sikorsky most recently served as vice president of homeland security solutions at General Dynamics‘ information technology business and managed the unit’s work with the departments of Homeland Security and Justice.
In that capacity, he helped GDIT pursue and secure federal contracts worth more $1.3 billion combined.
He managed the U.S. Coast Guard‘s communications, logistics, IT and intelligence programs during his 22-year career there.
USmax works with federal customers to help them secure cyber, physical and technical assets, manage infrastructure management and develop enterprise applications.
