PreTalen will help the U.S. Air Force research and develop an application for the operation of global navigation satellite systems under a potential $23.7 million completion contract.
The Defense Department said Thursday the contract for the Operational Multi-Domain Enhanced Global Navigation Satellite System is intended to extend the autonomous negotiator for position, navigation and time through the use of cognitive effects-based analysis.
The application is also meant to allow control of several global navigation satellite systems such as the BeiDou, Galileo and GLONASS and automate the assessment of the satellites’ platforms.
Work will run through Aug. 25, 2023 at the company’s facility in Dayton, Ohio, and at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
The Air Force Research Laboratory obligated $137,000 fiscal 2018 research and development funds at the time of the award.
