Jason Karp, former senior executive of the First Responder Network Authority, has been appointed to serve as chief legal counsel and board member at Secured Communications.
In his tenure with FirstNet, Karp helped determine the complex law that resulted in the organization’s creation and implemented a deployment strategy supporting the public safety broadband network nationwide, Secured Communications said Wednesday.
He is also among the co-founders of the Public Safety Network, which functions to propagate public safety technologies across the globe.
Karp holds over 25 years of leadership experience in the areas of telecom, technology, media and public safety with the federal government and firms such as MCI, Net2000 Communications and Accenture.
