Orbis Technologies has secured a production contract to provide an automatic document redaction technology for the Defense Department.
The company said Thursday it will deliver its Redaction and Exploitation Releasability tool to allow the U.S. military to safely distribute intelligence data from multiple sources to coalition partners.
Brian Ippolito, president and CEO of Orbis, said the award followed a competitive process.
The contract includes support services for the software’s integration into DoD’s environment to help the department supply work products for geospatial intelligence to partner nations.
REnDER is designed to use defined rules and methods to help automate the redaction of content and the workflow process for product releases.
The software is also designed to aid in the evaluation of sources and products for circulation.
