CrowdStrike has announced the inauguration of its own foundation dedicated to developing next generation talent and research in the areas of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
The company said Tuesday the CrowdStrike Foundation will fund scholarships and research for students and scientists studying cybersecurity and AI.
The foundation will also provide pro-bono security software for non-profits, journalists and activists in need.
CrowdStrike Foundation’s first research funding will support Dr. Una-May O’Reilly’s adversarial dynamics study under the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.
The foundation will also initiate the CrowdStrike NextGen Scholarship Program which seeks to support undergraduates and graduate school students taking up studies on cybersecurity and AI.
