Carey Smith, president of Parsons‘ federal group, will deliver a keynote speech on April 19 at the National Defense Industrial Association’s 33rd Annual National Logistics Forum in Tampa, Florida.
Parsons said Thursday her presentation, titled “Logistics–Military’s Backbone,” will highlight the current state of logistics readiness in the private sector.
“The evolving challenges of national security require agile, innovative and timely solutions,” said Smith, an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2017.
“Defense industry leaders must continually challenge themselves to think differently,” she added.
NDIA holds its National Logistics Forum annually for senior government and industry representatives to share multiple strategies to address logistics-related challenges.
This year’s forum aims to help companies identify new business opportunities and evaluate potential impacts of budget constraints on logistics support to U.S. warfighters.
