MBDA has appointed Pasquale Di Bartolomeo, Dave Armstrong and Gianni Bongianni to new roles within the company in a series of executive appointments.
The company said Monday Di Bartolomeo, executive group director for strategy, will take the additional role of managing director of MBDA Italia as successor to Antonio Perfetti, effective immediately.
Di Bartolomeo was with Leonardo-Finmeccanica prior to joining MBDA in 2011.
Armstrong, formerly executive group director for technical programs, has been named executive group director for sales and business development and will keep his responsibilities as managing director of MBDA UK.
He joined an MBDA forerunner in 1984 and is a former group director of the company’s Meteor program.
Bongianni, formerly group director of weapon systems programs, will become the executive group director for technical programs upon Armstrong’s move to his new role.
He started his career with MBDA in 1981 and has since held various leadership roles, including as director of the Aster missile systems programs.
Armstrong and Bongianni will assume their new duties effective Nov. 1.
