EMC Corp.‘s security division has appointed Dough Howard as its new vice president of global services.
Howard joins RSA and brings his sales, service and executive management experience and will work to assist the company in its mission to gain exposure in the security industry, the company said Monday.
Amit Yoran, RSA president, said that the company has addressed the current state of the security industry and committed to investments in strategies, technologies and people that could potentially lead to its transformation.
Howard founded and served as the CEO of the consultation and security services management firm Savanture and held several leadership roles for VBrick Systems, AT&T, BT Counterpane, Silversky and Sprint.
He also serves on the board of directors at Array Telepresence, Touching Heart and Savanture, the report said.
RSA also said it hired 25-year veteran Holly Rollo as chief marketing officer and senior vice president of marketing.
