Erin Hawley serves as regional director of national security programs at Cloudera and is responsible for business development and marketing initiatives across the company’s intelligence market area.
As part of her role, Hawley also acts as liaison for the company’s data management and open source briefings with members of Congress and their staff.
She joined Cloudera in December 2011 after work as senior director of the public sector market at data virtualization technology firm Composite Software for more than five years.
Hawley also held positions at information technology companies Sun Microsystems, Silicon Graphics and Blackboard.
She is an American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council fellow and a member of the Intelligence National Security Alliance, Executive Mosaic and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.
She also serves as a board member at Goat Rodeo and as chairman of sponsorships at the Matthew V. Poyner Memorial Foundation.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from James Madison University.
