Booz Allen Hamilton has received a potential $14.7 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to research and develop tools for the military branch’s virtual combat laboratory.
The Defense Department said Tuesday the company will also help the service branch maintain and update technology platforms intended for virtual and constructive modeling, simulation and analysis.
The Air Force Research Laboratory received three offers for the contract via a competitive procurement and obligated $1 million in fiscal 2017 R&D funds at the time of award.
Work will occur at various locations in Ohio and Virginia through Feb. 21, 2023.
