George Mansfield, vice president and general manager of international programs at Oshkosh‘s defense business, has said the company looks to offer armored vehicles in the Middle East through partnerships with local manufacturers there, Defense News reported Wednesday.
The report said Oshkosh Defense is in talks with Riyadh, Saudi Arabia-based Al-Tadrea Manufacturing Company about producing armored vehicles.
Al Tadreea Manufacturing CEO Fawzi Bin Ayoub Sabri confirmed the ongoing discussions between the two military vehicle producers at the Dubai Airshow, according to the report.
Al-Tadrea operates as a subsidiary of Al-Araba Holding Group and builds armored vehicles for defense and civilian applications.
