General Dynamics‘ land systems business has received a potential five-year, $59.2 million contract to provide newly improved fire control electronics units to the U.S. Army as well as repair and update existing IFCEUs.
The Defense Department said Thursday the company will also supply an improved commanders display unit for the M1-A2 System Enhanced Package Version 2 Field Modification program.
The Army Contracting Command solicited and received one bid for the firm-fixed-price contract and will determine funds upon issuance of each order.
General Dynamics Land Systems is scheduled to complete work Sept. 28, 2022.
