Sipree has made its financial technology offering available to federal customers through Amazon Web Services‘ U.S. government public cloud in an effort to help agencies manage digital payments.
Sipree’s software-as-a-service platform has been introduced to the AWS GovCloud (US), a region designed to host data and workloads in the cloud, Sipree said Wednesday.
The company developed its platform to serve as a gateway to alternative payment networks and the platform is available on AWS US East/West or AWS GovCloud (US) regions for government deployments.
“Our goal is to enable safe innovation for government agencies, so they can take advantage of technological advances that increase operational efficiencies while protecting the critical nature of their missions, data and applications,†said Kevin Henkener, vice president of engineering at Sipree.
“AWS GovCloud (US) helps us achieve compliance in the cloud for the most secure entities in the world,†Henkener added.
