CorasCloud has partnered with HumanTouch to implement the former’s CORASManage project and portfolio management platform across the Defense Information Systems Agency to support more than 1,100 users.
CORASManage is known as the Management Information and Decision Support system within DISA and works to provide management support for program cost, schedule and performance as well as situational awareness of a program’s status, HumanTouch said Monday.
The companies operationalized MIDS for DISA within 90 days in efforts to help the agency save approximately $2 million per year in productivity costs the agency attributes to project and portfolio management.
MIDS worked to shorten DISA’s reports and executive briefs development to less than half a day from one to two days before the implementation, HumanTouch added.
CORASManage is designed to feature scheduling, cost management, risk management, dashboards and reporting, performance management and data integration for executives, project managers and other stakeholders.
The platform also aids life-cycle cost estimates for acquisition or investment program baselines.
