Telos Launches IT Governance, Risk & Compliance Assessment Engine

Telos has unveiled a new assessment engine for information technology governance, risk and security compliance to help enterprises manage those functions and authorizations.

Xacta AE works to help security professionals manage IT risks on a day-to-day basis through continuous information monitoring and assurance on authorization in cloud computing environments, Telos said Wednesday.

Telos President and CEO John Wood said the company works to help agencies have an updated approach on risk management and compliance and focus on mission fulfillment instead of the process.

Telos will also offer customers Xacta Smartview, a customizable visualization on reporting module, that works to create an executive view of an organization’s security position through the combination of data sets.

Xacta AE was also developed in an effort to provide custom process steps, ease of access, plan of action and milestones, embedded computer-based training and other updates from the previous model.
