cyberwarfareThe U.S. Army seeks vendors that can offer situational awareness tools designed for cyberspace and electromagnetic spectrum environments as part of an effort to build a converged CEM SA platform.

In a FedBizOpps notice posted Oct. 22, the Army said it will also hold a Cyber Quest exercise in July 2016 to assess the feasibility of integrating commercial technology with an electronic warfare planning and management system.

The military service wants a platform that would display information from cyber and EW sensors and tactical data feeds as well as integrate data for infantry brigade combat teams to visualize the CEM environment.

The Army added it also plans to explore radio offerings designed to facilitate tactical communications, perform radio frequency sensing and defend against adversarial EW systems.

Companies, academic institutions and nonprofit organizations that want to join the program must submit white papers on capabilities by Nov. 13.
