RSA has incorporated EyeVerify’s eye biometrics system into the company’s authentication software development kit for mobile applications.
The addition of Eyeprint ID to RSA’s offering serves as an extra security layer to RSA’s eye-based biometric authentication, EyeVerify said Monday.
“Eyeprint ID gives organizations and their end users a simple authentication option to help secure mobile transactions,†said Angel Grant, senior manager of fFraud and risk intelligence group at RSA.
“As end users continue to demand convenient access to mobile, web and SaaS applications, organizations are seeking solutions that provide that convenience without sacrificing security,” Grant added.
