The U.S. Army has renewed an IT maintenance and support contract with Globalscape for the company’s Enhanced File Transfer platform and CuteFTP client software.
Globalscape said Thursday the contract covers the use of EFT and CuteFTP in support of the Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced logistics program and Carahsoft will distribute the software across the branch.
Michael Shrader, vice president for intelligence and innovative solutions at Carahsoft, said the Army seeks to fulfill its secure information exchange requirements through the renewal.
Texas-based Globalscape said its offerings work to help the Army transfer critical logistics data to support deployed troops around the world.
