A team of ICF International and ASI Government will provide training to federal acquisition professionals as part of the Office of Management and Budget‘s Digital Service Contracting Professional Training and Development Program.

The companies said Thursday they will work with the U.S. Digital Service and Office of Federal Procurement Policy to support a six-month pilot program that will train an initial group of 30 acquisition professionals.

OMB chose ICF-ASI team to help run the training and learning program via a $360,000 challenge OFPP launched in May and won by the group of companies.

The program aims to help transform the procurement of digital services across government, ICF and ASI added.

Jeffrey Neal, a senior vice president at ICF, said the training focuses on “increasing digital services market expertise, reform within the context of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and flexible and iterative contract strategies.”

The companies said professionals trained under the program will eventually serve as business advisers to the digital services team at their respective agencies.
