TechNexus has selected 13 companies as finalists in its EMERGE Accelerator Program for wearable technology with the Department of Homeland Security and the Center for Innovative Technology.
The company said Aug. 10Â the finalists will work with its corporate partners and DHS to explore mentorship opportunities, provide test beds for proof of concepts and build investor or channel partner relationships.
The program works to bolster the commercial viability of wearable technology for the public safety and first responder community, TechNexus added.
