CGI-Intrasoft Team Lands $215M European Parliament IT System Services Contract

A consortium of CGI and Intrasoft International has secured a potential five-year, $215 million contract to develop, implement and maintain information systems for the European Parliament.

CGI said Tuesday the framework agreement awarded by the parliament’s Directorate-General for Innovation and Technological Support has a base term of two years and three option years.

ITEC works to provide communication technology, information platforms and document printing services for the European Parliament.

The contract also covers other European Union agencies such as the European Ombudsman, Court of Auditors, European Aviation Safety Agency, European Data Protection Supervisor, Court of Justice and the Economic and Social Committee.
