Carahsoft Technology will offer PernixData’s FVP software platform to public sector agencies through a General Services Administration schedule in a move to help federal customers fulfill storage requirements.
Carahsoft will serve as PernixData’s distributor and master government aggregator across state and local education and federal government customers, PernixData said Tuesday.
Agencies will have access to the PernixData product through Carahsoft’s GSA schedule contract position.
“Through our partnership with PernixData, we are able to equip our customers with the ability to solve their most pressing virtualized application performance challenges in a simple, cost-effective, non-disruptive way,” said Michael Shrader, vice president of intelligence and innovative solutions at Carahsoft.
PernixData FVP works to virtualize server-side flash and memory into a low latency storage platform.
