Vivace International Corporation, a developer of propulsion tanks for customers across spaceflight, hypersonic and launch vehicle markets, has appointed Luke Wright as director of operations.
Vivace said Tuesday that Wright previously worked for industrial conglomerate Textron, where he served as a senior engineering and operating executive.
Wright brings to his new role at Vivace nearly 20 years of professional experience.
The company also announced having received a growth capital investment from a Cerberus Capital Management affiliate. The fresh funds will be used to support Vivace’s current work on vital national security programs as it gears for sustained growth.
Regarding the investment, Dave Cochran, co-founder and president of Vivace, said, “This transaction represents an important milestone in our efforts to advance cutting-edge products and services to support many of the nation’s most advanced spaceflight programs.”
For his part, Steve Cook, senior managing director at Cerberus, said, “We look forward to continuing to support Vivace as it takes the next step in its journey to serve programs of national significance.”
Cook was recently appointed chairman of Vivace’s newly formed advisory board.
