Amentum CEO John Vollmer Receives Sixth Wash100 Award; Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson Quoted

This year, Amentum CEO John Vollmer has received his sixth Wash100 Award win, as a recipient of the 2021 Wash100 Award, for his leadership in establishing ‘Amentum’ in the federal market and driving its significant growth through major contract awards and key acquisitions.

After Amentum was established in early 2020, following Lindsay Goldberg and American Securities’ acquisition of AECOM’s management services group, the company drove its own success to significantly grow its business financially through major acquisitions such as its purchase of Dyncorp in Nov. 2020 and various contract award wins to establish its new name in the federal marketplace as a major player.
