IntelliDyne has set up two funds to aid its personnel who support government customers in essential field posts and are exposed to the COVID-19 virus.
The first program is designed to supplement the income of staff members working at mission sites and the second program offers financial assistance to workers if they or their immediate family members suffer from medical problems caused by the novel coronavirus, IntelliDyne said Friday.
Ninety percent of the company’s staff are working from home and the rest are working at government facilities as essential contractor personnel.
"Our government is doing everything possible to protect Americans throughout this crisis. Government employees have done an incredible job across the board – putting in marathon work hours, going on little sleep, and taking on additional responsibilities and risks in new areas to innovate. Our people are doing the same, without being asked," said IntelliDyne founder and CEOÂ Robert Grey.
Grey added that the company and its executive team work to assure "our employees that both they and their families will be taken care of all the way through this challenging situation, however long it goes."
