SAP National Security Services and Ossia have partnered to help intelligence, defense and industry clients manage internet-of-things devices.

SAP NS2 will combine its cloud offerings, SAP Digital Core Software Extensions and hyperscaler integration services with Ossia's Cota Real Wireless Power technology to support customers in fielding sensors and smart technology platforms designed to collect data and uncover insights, according to a joint statement released Thursday.

Ossia's Cota technology is a Federal Communications Commission-certified platform designed to deliver targeted energy to devices without the need for charging pads, cables or wires.

“Our alliance with Ossia allows us to better navigate the complex IoT environment that currently exists for businesses and contractors working with the public sector ““ particularly as it relates to supporting mission-focused solutions,” said Kyle Rice, chief technology officer of SAP NS2.

Rice added the strategic partnership will help SAP NS2 deliver more streamlined platforms to customers in national security and aerospace and defense segments and increase the standard for IoT platforms.
