The U.S. Air Force is slated to host a virtual industry day to discuss the details of a planned indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the provision of integration, operations and maintenance services for an airbase air defense network.
According to a notice on the SAM website posted Friday, the Air Force seeks to secure persistent, multirole and cross-domain ABAD capacities that will work to expand the U.S. Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa, U.S. Africa Command and the U.S. European Command’s deterrence options.
Moreover, the service branch aims to foster worldwide security, enhance partnership capacity and enable interoperability through the IDIQ.
The planned contract will potentially run for 10 years with a ceiling value of $950M.
Government briefings are scheduled for April 13, while one-on-one meetings will take place from April 15 to 16. Interested vendors have until April 6 to register for the event.
