Carahsoft to Distribute Qualys Cloud-Based Inventory App to Public Sector; Craig Abod Quoted

Qualys has partnered with Carahsoft Technology to market a cloud-based data analytics and inventory tool to public sector customers.

The Global IT Asset Discovery and Inventory application uses scanners, passive network sensors and cloud agents to gather and analyze data from hybrid environments to provide security compliance information, Carahsoft said Tuesday.

Customers may also avail of various features such as business asset-tagging capacities and software lifecycle and license information for an additional price.

“The Qualys Global IT Asset Inventory app allows Federal administrators and security teams to enjoy the heightened visibility and peace of mind that comes with using a solution available through a FedRAMP-authorized platform,” said Craig Abod, president at Carahsoft and a 2019 Wash100 awardee.

Interested agencies may purchase the tool at an annual price of $99.
