Parsons will vie for task orders to help the U.S. Navy install or modernize shore-based command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platforms under a potential 10-year, $968M contract.
The scope of work includes project management, engineering design, troubleshooting, end-user training, operational verification, installation design and modernization and decommissioning services for shore facilities, the company said Thursday.
Kevin Moffatt, defense market leader at Parsons, said C4ISR modernization efforts seek to help warfighters accelerate data evaluation and decision-making processes.
He added that the company is ready to support the service branch’s multidomain operations.
Naval Information Warfare Systems Command received nine offers and chose Parsons as one of the eight awardees for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, which has a five-year base term and five option years.
