John Pi, formerly a supervisory special agent at the FBI, has been named chief medical officer at DSFederal.
Prior to his previous role, Pi led the FBI’s tactical medical operations, cyber intrusion efforts and counterterrorism missions as senior law enforcement program manager, the company said Tuesday.
He also served as a member of the Committee for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care and spent 12 years at the University of California, Los Angeles as an assistant clinical professor.

Pi is an accredited information systems security professional. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Columbia University.
