Blockchain firm Constellation Network has secured a contract to help the U.S. Air Force provide interoperability capability between legacy systems and newer data technologies. Its technology will unlock data from those systems, which is either inaccessible or requires manpower to extract and sort, for multi-domain command and control, the company said Tuesday.
The scalable technology will serve as a bridge between legacy equipment and cloud data, while supporting big data processing. Constellation Network will provide audit trails and status overviews to allow for data tracking. The effort supports phase one of USAF’s Small Business Innovation Research Program.
