Ultra Electronics, Milestone Systems to Integrate Security, Video Analytics Tech for DoD Customers

Milestone Systems has selected Ultra Electronics Holdings' 3eTI cybersecurity business as its integrator and gold channel partner to help address video management and security requirements of Department of Defense customers.

The alliance seeks to combine 3eTI’s VirtualFence perimeter security tool with the Milestone XProtect video management platform to develop a technology offering that will employ automatic alerts and advanced video analytics, Ultra Electronics said Monday.

“These products meet the stringent security and assurance requirements demanded by the DoD, so deploying them as an integrated solution will save agency customers a significant amount of time and expense,” says Charlene Mowery, vice president of global business and marketing at 3eTI.

Mowery added the partnership aims to facilitate the integration of two security platforms without further systems engineering or information assurance accreditation procedures.

DoD organizations use VirtualFence in efforts to monitor unauthorized activity involving physical or virtual thresholds.
