Public safety and administration software vendor CentralSquare has announced plans to add 400 employees at the company's centers of excellence throughout the U.S. and Canada.

CentralSquare said Monday will recruit professionals who possess sofware development and quality assurance skills, as well as open employment opportunities for professional services, sales, accounting, administration and support staff.

Simon Angove, CEO of CentralSquare, said the company’s work on data science, artificial intelligence and internet-of-things programs support more than 7.5K public sector agencies in North Amercia.

“Expansion of our workforce at our CoEs reflects our deep commitment to empower safer and smarter communities through technology,” he noted.

The company has facilities in Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, Kansas, South Dakota, British Columbia and Ontario.
