Ivanti has obtained a Certificate of Networthiness from the U.S. Army for a software platform designed to automate and manage the patching process for Microsoft Windows operating system.
The certification validates that Ivanti's Patch for Windows 9.3 Update 1 has met security standards established by the U.S. Army and the Department of Defense, the company said Tuesday.
The software is designed to recognize connected systems and search for missing patches across the enterprise. It also works to help organizations manage compliance in different network environments.
The CoN extends certification issued to Shavlik before it rebranded as Ivanti.
The Army evaluates risks and impacts associated with the deployment of information systems and support services through the Networthiness Certification Program.
Carahsoft distributes Ivanti products to the public sector via the General Services Administration's Schedule 70 contract vehicle.
