Lockheed Martin's aeronautics business will continue to provide logistics support services for the U.S Air Force's C-5 Galaxy airlifters under a two-year, $39.9M contract modification.
The company will help the military service manage supply chain for the military transport aircraft and perform repair and technical work, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
USAF will obligate $14.9M at the time of award from its material support, operations and maintenance funds for fiscal 2019 through fiscal 2021.
Work will take place in Georgia and South Carolina through Jan. 31, 2021.
The service branch awarded the company a separate $131.6M contract earlier this month to provide sustaining engineering support for the C-5 fleet.
