DoD said WednesdayÂ the company will update the currentÂ Identity Dominance SystemÂ configuration andÂ replace theÂ integrated base unit with a new handheld technology.
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division received three offers for theÂ cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract andÂ the service branch willÂ obligate $1.5M at the time of award.
Work will take place in McLean, Va. andÂ is scheduled to conclude in January 2024.
Naval Surface Warfare Center competitively procured the contract on a full and open basis with three proposals received.
