The Architect of the Capitol plans to host an industry day on Jan. 24 to discuss an upcoming project to design, build, install and commission a legislative call system for Congress.
AOC said in a FedBizOpps notice posted Thursday the future congressional LCS will be designed with fully functional components such as clocks, a radio frequency transmitter and call receivers and should operate with broadcasting devices such as smart phones and TV channel displays.
The architect also looks to develop a mobile LCS version equipped with a non-radio frequency encryption tool to secure wireless communications in the House and Senate.
Interested businesses can register through Jan. 17 via email to participate in the event.
