Boeing and Embraer are in discussions to establish a KC-390 military aircraft assembly line in the U.S., Reuters reported Monday.
The two aerospace companies plan to set up a defense-related joint venture to pursue the construction of a new facility that would serve as the second KC-390 factory, according to a Monday report by Brazilian newspaper Valor Economico.
Boeing and Embraer agreed on a strategic partnership in July to establish a JV that would build new markets and applications for KC-390 and other defense platforms and services.
