IAP Worldwide Services has provided more than 125 workers, 286 generators and heavy construction equipment to support disaster response operations during the aftermath of Hurricane Florence.
The company said Tuesday it deployed teams and supplies across Fort Bragg, N.C.; Kinston, N.C. and Columbia, S.C. in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
IAP personnel began preparation work within a day before the hurricane’s landfall.
“IAP is proud to support our federal, state and local government first responders during these challenging and time-sensitive response efforts,” said Rob Hargis, chief operating officer at IAP.
The company has engaged in humanitarian missions over the last two decades, with more than 150 efforts in calamity response including to last year’s Hurricanes Matthew and Harvey.
