Sharon Hays, formerly an account manager at General Dynamics‘ information technology business, has joined LMI as a senior technical fellow.
LMI said Tuesday Hays will help Chief Technology Officer Sanjay Parthasarathy to manage the nonprofit consulting firm’s research institute and implement technologies that can support customer missions.
She will also be responsible for cultivating strategies to invest and incorporate platforms in new programs or services.
Parthasarathy said Hays brings experience leading cross-functional teams in the public and private sectors as the company aims to develop agile, digital and secure technology offerings.
Hays joined General Dynamics upon its acquisition of CSRA, where she previously led the latter’s High Performance Computing Center of Excellence, and also worked at Computer Sciences Corp. as vice president for science and engineering.
She held positions in the White House’s Office of Science and Technology Policy, the House Committee on Science and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
